Bruce E. Parmley
Before his recent retirement from “Big Law”, Bruce Parmley enjoyed a 30+ year tenure as a partner at Hogan Lovells, including stretches as the Global and US head of real estate and hospitality. In his continuing practice, focused on luxury hotels and resorts, he has the same notable clients and some formidable new ones.
Bruce is the only attorney with the “Senior Statespeople” distinction in the sizable USA-Nationwide Leisure & Hospitality listings by Chambers and Partners, the leading global attorney rankings organization in which Bruce has been ranked in the top tiers for 22 years.

In addition to Chambers, Bruce has been recognized over many years by Who’s Who Legal: Real Estate, Legal 500, Super Lawyers and other publications as a leading go-to practitioner representing owners of, and investors in, substantial estate projects.
National & International Focus on Luxury Hotels & Resorts
Bruce serves as principal and special counsel to sophisticated real estate owner, investor, and operator clients, and is very skilled at negotiating and drafting legal agreements for international luxury hotel, resort and other real estate projects (such as acquisitions, sales, ventures, financings, leases, development agreements, hotel management, branding, license and franchise agreements, and “celebrity chef” and restaurant agreements). He is regularly involved in transactions globally, and is particularly skilled at assisting owners and investors with their initial selection of a luxury operator. Many of his transactions have involved representing the developers and owners of iconic hotels and resorts. Bruce genuinely enjoys what he does (which is why he is still doing it), and he is fun to work with.
